Don't let it snow!

If I could just stay home by the fire, make soup and chocolate chip cookies, and watch it fall from my warm house it would be wonderful. Unfortunately I can't. I have to drive in it and thats when I feel it would be great if it would just melt and turn warm. The boys just played together all day, with an occational "Heber smacked me!!!" over and over until I respond. They are so dang cute! Dave came up after work to play with the kids. He made dinner and cleaned so that I could get some important things done--thanks Dave! I had a basketball game and was even more out of shape than ever--I think it's because I have had 2 weeks of no exersize instead of just 1 I feel like an old lady!!! We lost the game-I only scored 4 points! The team we played is a little serious and wants to go to region so bad. Have at it!

More Basketball

Two bball games today. Matt played at Roy High and did a fantastic job!!!! Scored the first 4 points and got a couple of awesome blocks right off. He had his first injury--blood everywhere!!!! He was set up to take a charge and the kid ran right into him and threw his hand out and hit Matt right in the nose. It kind of made my heart jump to see my baby bleeding on the court but he thought it made him tough!
Jack had a game and was a blockin, reboundin, scorin machine!!!! His team lost but it wasn't his fault- he never does anything but help the team. I'm totally kidding!!!!! He has a good group of boys on his team that try so hard. It is so fun to go to the games because all of us parents are such good friends!

Little Kirilenko

Today was cold, cold, cold--I don't know about you, but I'm ready for Spring!!!!! Brooklyn tried out for Chamber Choir today. It is a special choir for 9th graders that you have to audition for. I was really proud of her for trying--something I never would have done and maybe not even do now!! She's got guts!

Porter had a school program today and was supposed to dress as someone they wanted to be when they grow up. Guess who?
He also had a basketball game tonight and his team barely lost. The score was 48 to 10.
Porter is so cute!!!!

Big Red Boat: Totaled

Jess was in a car accident a couple weeks ago and luckily it wasn't her fault. Someone backed up, rammed into her and she ended up in the canal. Fire engines, police cars, and ambulances everywhere! Scared me to death!!!!! She was wearing her seatbelt so she just walked out of it. She is so lucky to be alive. We know it wasn't luck! Her car was totaled.

Update

To catch everyone up to today: Jessica is a Senior at Box Elder High School and can't wait to be done and out on her own! Someday she will miss me--maybe after I'm dead.
Matthew is a Sophmore and plays basketball for Box Elder. He's a slam-dunkin' fool! Actually he is still working on dunking it and will be able to by next year. He's 6'7"
Brooke is in 8th grade and is on her way to being the super texter that her sister is. As if that is a worthwhile accomplishment! She enjoys friends and socializing.
Jack is in 5th grade and loves to play basketball. He informed me that he doesn't want to play football this next year--he wants to consentrate on basketball and focus on the NBA. no comment
Porter is in 2nd grade and also is playing bball. He is a wonderful student and is a mini Andre Kirilenko--though I think he is so much cuter!!!! and a better ball player!
Heber is 5 and is such a smartie. He is always asking questions that I wouldn't even think to ask. Guess that just shows that he didn't get his brain from me.
Elijah is 2 and is getting more and more wild everyday. He cracks us up! When I go to give him a hug, puts his arms around me and says "Anaconda Squeeeeeze!!!"
