Outstanding Boy

Jack did get a pretty hairy award!!! He got the Most Outstanding Boy award and Mckenzie Stacey got the Most Outstanding Girl. We have great kids don't we Andrea? When Matt found out he said "When you guys get married you'll be the Outstanding Couple." Jack just smiled. He also got the Outstanding Academic Excellence and another couple of brainiac awards and an art one. I was so proud of him. He's not the only one getting awards. Porter got an Excellent Behavior award. Except no one called and told me about his award so I didn't come to his assembly so when he found out I went to Jacks, he was a little upset. Why do mom's make mistakes??? The kids would be so much happier if we didn't!

Brookie had her last choir concert of the year. She did a good job! But what was really fun to se was Seth Stacey and Andy Womack dancing!!!!! It was awesome!

Darling Bags

Ok I found these cute bags at Dollar Tree and use them for scripture bags and purses--I just wanted to share. For a dollar, you can have a bag for every day of the week!!!

Ring of the Month

My May ring---they were having a Memorial Day sale so I got this one for 8 bucks! Bonus!!!!

Porter Pie---Heber Jeeber---leigeheh (thanks brooke!)

is a little smarty. He is getting better and better at bball. He has to to be able to play with his brothers. We are all looking forward to summer and all the fun!!!

Heber and Eli have been keeping me busy! Eli is always going a million miles an hour. He can't eat anything without putting some kind of foreign object in his food. He has put beads up his nose and beans in his ears. He loves to repeat all the wonderful things his brothers say. In church on Sunday, he had to go out because he kept saying (and of course he doesn't know what a quiet voice is) haha loser!! to Heber over and over! And Heber is as good as ever. He gets frustrated with Eli but he is a good, kind boy--he has to be to put up with eli!

Jack Jack

Jack has been doing well in school--there is an assembly tomorrow so I'll let you know what kind of award he gets. It might be a pretty hairy award because they told us to invite family. Ok we'll see. He will be going to basketball camp in a couple of weeks and is excited for that. He told me he is not going to play football this year. He really didn't enjoy it last year.

sorry no pic

Brookie Wookie

Let's see....Brooklyn has just been busy with school and socializing. She is growing like a weed and hates it!!! She is now about 5'10" and would rather be 4 feet tall. She is so excited for school to get out. She is going to volleyball camp next month--we'll see if she likes that. I think she'll be good at it.
p.s. from brooklyn: dont believe my mom. i love school! and by the way i went to ISS (in school suspension) it was fabulous i hope a can go there again, i really adore mrs allen.

Bball foo!

Matt finished up the Lacrosse season. Now it's back to basketball. He had a tournament in Roy over the weekend and did a great job. His team won 4 out of the 5 games!!!! I was out in the hall when the Ben Lomond team came walking in--my boys asked who I was going to cheer for. Please!!!! Anyway, I saw a couple that I went to school with and remembered their names--of course they didn't remember me (i love to do that to people!) so for all of you who went to Ben Lomond and were wondering---Trent Cook married Shelly Miller.

Matt has a few more camps. He is going to be playing in Pocatello and helping out with Jack's camp. Everyone who has seen him play---just since the bball season ended has said he has improved a ton! He is gaining that confidence and more skill. I think it's because he goes out with his brothers and plays bball every chance he gets! That's what they say before they go outside--Matt will say to Jack: Bball foo! It's so funny when Eli says it!

The Graduate

Jess is done with High School! (well at least in her mind) she has 3 and a half more days left. She is graduating on Friday. Then moving out on Saturday. It's so wierd to think that our family is changing so quickly! I just barely had her and now she's leaving and things won't ever be the same.

She has been having fun hangin out a little with Scott Olsen--he just got back from his mission a few weeks ago. They are good friends and I just wanted to put this pic up because he is so dang cute!

She also just got a car--she is sooooooo excited about it! I'll have to post a pic of it when she actually gets it.

Sorry I'm so bad at this!!!!!

What we're up to......Ok I'll start with me. I have just been trying to keep up with the kids! I did get a part time job. Matt Checketts hired me as his secretary. He is so good to let me work what ever hours I need and let me work mostly from home. It has been fun working for him--it has been hard trying to figure out what works the best for me--when to work, how many hours etc. you know!

I got pulled over the other day for the first time in my life! That is what helped me get out of the ticket--that and telling the cop that I'll love him forever if he didn't give me one. Isn't it great to be a girl?

I have really down sized my garden because of all that I have to do. So instead of planting every vegetable on the face of the earth, I planted.........potatoes. We'll be livin off the land this year!
